The purpose of Can*Con is to promote the creation and appreciation of speculative fiction in Canada by human beings. Due to complex copyright issues regarding AI-generated and AI-derived works, the possibility of copyright infringement in the creation of such works, and Can*Con’s purpose, AI-generated and AI-derived works are therefore not allowed. Vendors must take reasonable actions to prevent the sale or distribution of AI-generated or AI-derived works at Can*Con. If you have doubts about the provenance of a work, please remove it from sale. Failure to follow this policy may result in immediate cancellation of your vendor agreement for this and all future Can*Con events.
